Rhode Island brand ambassador Jacques Blaauw ended with a bang holing a 10 feet eagle putt at the last to finish second at the Investec Cup.
Jacques Blaauw fired rounds of 67-73-67-66 to card a total of 273 (-15), just one stroke shy of winner Trevor Fisher Jnr. Fisher Jnr won just over R160 000 for his tournament victory, but also scooped the Investec Cup bonus pool winning a cool R3.5 million.
Danie Van Tonder was the only other Rhode Island player in the limited field and he shot rounds of 76-70-73-68 to end in a tie for 19th.
The next event on the Sunshine Tour is the Telkom Business PGA Championship played at Country Club Johannesburg, it takes place from 03-06 April 2014.
